A considered approach

Start with clarity—not pressure.

Nuderma begins with a personal conversation about your goals, questions, and relevant medical history. Your care team will explain whether this service may be appropriate and what alternatives should be considered.

Recommendations, timing, expected experience, and aftercare are discussed during your consultation because every patient and treatment plan is different.

Why laser

Built for precision. Made for real life.

Laser hair removal targets the follicle directly for smoother, longer-lasting reduction than shaving or waxing, with less ongoing upkeep.

01

Precise

The laser targets pigmented hair at the root while limiting exposure to the surrounding skin.

02

Efficient

Each pulse treats a small area quickly. Appointment length varies with the size and number of areas being treated.

03

Long-term reduction

A planned series of sessions addresses hair across different growth cycles. Individual response varies.

Your treatment plan

What a full course can look like.

Nuderma typically recommends a package of six treatments spaced four to six weeks apart. Many patients begin noticing a visible difference during the early part of the series.

  1. Session 1Baseline treatment
  2. Sessions 2–3Visible reduction
  3. Sessions 4–5Continued thinning
  4. Session 6Long-term reduction plan

Before your session

Prepare the treatment area.

  • Avoid plucking, waxing, or electrolysis for six weeks so the hair root remains available to target.
  • Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and spray tans for six weeks before treatment.
  • Pause topical exfoliants such as Retin-A or AHAs/BHAs for one week as directed.
  • Tell the care team about new prescriptions or medication changes between sessions.

After your session

Protect and support your skin.

  • Use broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher as directed before and after treatment.
  • Temporary redness or puffiness can occur and commonly settles within several hours.
  • Shaving between sessions is acceptable; avoid methods that remove the root.
  • Most patients return to their usual routine without significant downtime.

Common questions

Before you book.

Does laser hair removal hurt?+

Patients often compare the sensation to a quick snap against the skin. The GentleMax Pro cooling system is designed to reduce discomfort, although sensitivity varies by treatment area.

Is laser hair removal permanent?+

Laser treatment is intended for permanent hair reduction. Hormonal changes, medications, and new growth cycles can occasionally make touch-up sessions useful.

Can I shave between sessions?+

Yes. Shaving is acceptable between treatments. Avoid plucking, waxing, or electrolysis because those methods remove the root the laser needs to target.

What areas can be treated?+

Common areas include the face, underarms, arms, legs, back, chest, and bikini line. Appointment time and sensitivity vary by area.

Am I a good candidate?+

The laser targets pigment in the hair shaft, so darker and coarser hair generally responds best. The GentleMax Pro supports a broader range of skin tones, while very light blonde, gray, or red hair may be more difficult to treat. A consultation confirms suitability.

Is there downtime?+

There is usually no significant downtime. Mild redness or puffiness around treated follicles may appear temporarily and often resolves the same day.

Can treatment be performed during pregnancy?+

Nuderma does not perform laser hair removal during pregnancy or breastfeeding as a precaution.
